MINDFULNESS
In a recent study, Harvard researchers polled subjects during the day asking their perceived states of happiness and current activities. The results were that 46% of people sampled reported their minds were wandering or daydreaming. Those people found them less happy in their mind wandering, regardless of the subject, then when they stayed focused on a task.
This further cements the belief that lack of attention leads to disconnection, disorder and eventually disease. Attention, like that used in meditation, leads to connection, order and ease.
Meditation can improve one’s quality of life, general wellness and ability to fight disease. Practitioner’s find improvement in their energy, memory and concentration.
